Know,when I was a little and monstrous young girl,I've always had the mentality that when I play the piano,the thundering storms will soothen and will calm down to the sound of music. But as much as I tried,of course it has never worked once,but I still kept trying. Such an odd mind.

Chapter 208 - For ASLAN!!!!

I SOOO can't believe Narnia's over. It was practically the highlight of my whole holiday!

Man,after this,it's gonna be like a snooze fest. Unfortunately,I can't snooze during school hols for some reason.

Sam's off to camp tomorrow and Arjund on Friday.

Gah,homeschoolers are at their daily routines.

School friends are going to Lagoon(which I don't regret my decision!)

So,I'm stuck at home, obeying mom to study and to finish Rachel's book while everyone else is busy being happy. Talk about happy holidays.

Waited for Iiern to arrived at my house cause' Aunt Siew Kham was outside and Aj was playing with my Waterhorse.

Picked Sam up from tuition and went to Summit.

Went to get tickets and we had to wait for the 6.45pm show instead of the 6pm show.If we took the 6 pm show,one lonely person has to sit all by himself/herself:(

How sad.

Got bubble teas(YUM!) and waited for Jian,Jian Lin and Ken.

Ate dinner at MCDS and went to the arcade to waste some time and money.

Haha,Jian eu got cheated off one Big Mac XP

FINALLY. The moment I've been waiting for the whole entire school hols.

So much excitement and anticipation running through my body,well not as much as Jian Eu,but still.

Yet,I came out speechless.

It was awesome I agree!Cheesy at times but awesome stuff!

But it was fun laughing at all the cheesy scenes and the cina kids two rows behind us commenting all the trailers and not forgetting Jian Eu who turned his shirt into a blanket.(?!?!)

Came out and played more arcade(DATONA!) and balik.

Chapter 206 - Opium's gotten me high.

After a hitus of years and years of not baking due to the first experience of baking and after months of procrastination..

Lets recall the scene.

Chocolate cake comes out from the oven.

Kat and Liesl: Oooooo..

Kat(or Liesl,I forgot who) takes out a knife and attempts to cut it.

Cake deflates and only a layer of the chocolate skin was left.

Yeap,so there you have it.

But today,I've attempted to do it once again,

alone,

and the product?

I'll let you decide:)

Instructions:

1. Get excited and call mom to get permission to mess up her kitchen.
2. Take out the stuff to bake.


3. Read the instructions and roll eyes at it.


4. Get KH book and refer to it for baking.


5. Melt the butter and lick off the remains on your fingers.


6. Attempt to crack the eggs professionally with one hand but fail.


7. Put the watery butter in with the eggs and slowly add flour mixture bit by bit.


8. Stir until you're tired. Then,add water.


9. Stir somemore until you hands want to break off.


10. Let it settle while you use your aching hands to preheat the oven.


11. Pour muffin mixture into 6 muffin cups and put into oven after 15 mins or preheating.


12. Wait anxiously while you're singing,running up and down the kitchen and study room.


13. Wait for the timer to go *ping!


14. (Or alternative,wait for your mom to tell you "It smells like something's burning")


15. Frantically run to the oven and wear mittens.


16. Take out the 200 degree hot muffin tray and yell "OW OW OW" until it is placed on the table to chill.


17. Be impatient and grab one muffin.


18. Savage it down into your stomach like you've never eaten before.


19. Go high on the opium inside it.


20. Eat another to get even more high.

It's finally the holidays!The day EVERYONE has anticipated!

Chapter 199 - "Wanna scam some chicks?"

Church camp. was. simply. the. BOMB.

We started off the journey at 8.12am on Saturday. Listening to young adults and adults talk is just so hilarious. You'd be surprised! I won't go much into details la. Boring la details about car trips!Haha!

Reached bout 12.30pm. While waiting for the bus humans to arrive, Anthea decided to release the kid in us. Rocks. The place is really cool. Oh yeah!

Venue: Impiana Resort,Cherating,Pahang.(10 km away from Club Med!)

So, they had like a lot of facilities,most of them on sand. Bola jaring, Volleyball(a MUST!), an awesome swimming pool with a man-made waterfall,football sand field. Ping pong tables( not on the sand laaa) and a gym. What else?They had a mini playground!

Now you can pretty much imagine a small monkey with braces running wildly in the playground. There were like ladders hagning from the trees ALL over the place. I climbed until I had difficulties coming down. LOL.

It isn't as easy as it looks. Trust me. it isn't nice to see your "hosts" at the top of the ladder. Iiern can agree with me on that. He was greeted by red exoskeletoned 6 legged creatures. Haha.so pandai.

Okay,skip the boring parts.Moving on...

The bus people arrived. 3 hours later in fact. Rules..oops,lemme rephrase that, "core values" were clarified by the camp commando, Uncle Doug! Then, telematches began. 5 hard core mini games. Lemme tell you guys this,it doesnt only take brauns to do physical telematches,but also brains. Uncle Wooi Meng,the Physics experteh, really helped a lot during the "Highway" game.

After the whole tiring 1 1/2 hours of running,spinning,duck walking,building,cheering,eating(YES,EATING!), we had free time.

The older males with some "exceptionals" were playing Volleyball.

Some,were playing "Penguin". (?!?!)

The kids?They were swimming.

Us youths were playing frisbee,in the pool.

Me?I was trying to Cwalk in water:P And the audience goes *roll eyes*. Haha. I was also trying to handstand underwater,but instead I did a summersault. Whoops.
Ken was trying to shuffle. And the audience goes *roll eyes and shakes head*

At night,sermon was good. I took down loads of notes. More to reflect during QT:)

We ended the night with Twister. Yes, the one with the polka dotted mat.


Jian Lin,you're really one flexible dudette. Oh yeah!I met Jian Lin!

Jian Eu,she SOOOOO looks like you, except with longer hair and cuter too!I still can't believe she's 12.

Next day?
Quite relaxing.

Woke up at 6.30 am for the usual 6 am session. The dudes went "Sea Walking" while me and lucas and kelvin played frisbee a while. Then QT. Had a good chat with God:)

Breakfast?Good meals I'm telling you.(*Psst the guys are total FA-T-T-I-E-S,they couldn't help themselves from the buffet!*)

Praise and worship was awesome. It was so oomph-ing! Sermon,once again was good. Debatable points,well some of them only la but all was good. Lunch was a horrible *wet* experience. I nearly drowned thanks to Ken and Jian eu. Geniuses.

Let's rewind to the scene.

So we both had to drink half a cup of water. Ugh,so full after that. So Ken drank first and it was my turn to drink.

Then,free time. Couldn't go into the pool or beach. So guys went to play Water Polo while Kee Ken, Lucas and I made sand balls. Eventually,the sand ball fight started between us and Simon/Iishan. Hectic. Then were later joined by the rest. Dug holes in the beach and buried Judson/Simon/Iishan/Sam/Kee Ken's feet under the sand. Quite deep. didn't know how in the world they got out. Haha.

The Funny thing?

Sam couldn't get out if Simon couldn't.

Why?

Because Simon's foot was on Sam's.

After,played a little volleyball. See,studying PJK DOES come in handy:)

Then,my mind blanked out and I forgot what I did.

"Wanna go scam some chicks?"


Though,I really laughed at Keegan's line which was

"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore"

What were the odds of an American with a rich American accent getting that line.

After the whole night of laughter,it was time to sleep.Zzzz.

At the last night of camp,there's no such thing as sleep. Only naps are allowed on such occassions:P

So we talked and played "Truth or Dare". well,in other words, more like"Tell or Die"..Haha,i'm kidding!We played only truth because well, it wouldnt be pretty if your neighbours come by your room and telling you to stop jumping around the rooms like monkeys and esp during the wee hours of morning.

I took a look before going to bed.

Since we ended so late,we were ALL zombified except Ken Ming who is and was always hyped up. Crazy shuffler.

Worship and the last session was good,as usual. I really think that the sermons during this camp were really good. Maybe because of the fact that he's like a youth speaker. I guess it's easier for us to understand:)

Soon,it was time to say..

"Hey,it feels like we just arrived here 5 minutes ago."

Yeap,don't we all wish that before we bid adieu to everyone.

Super MOM!Love that title for my mom,why?Because it really describes her. Mind you,my mom's got "super strength" and she can "fly",oh my siblings can relate to me on how she "flys". She's not bullet proof nor does she have xray visions(except when it comes to me sneaking online:P) Super speed?That happens when she flys. My mom is the 24 hour food supplier in the house cause' she's the one who does the grocery shopping. My mom also cooks and cleans. My mom's so strong that when she cleaned the house once,she broke a mirror..with a mop. Accidently broke it by using to much strength.(What to do,super strength mahhh)

Mom's the "transporter" too. Yes,Yes,she's not the only one in the family who can drive but she's the main "transporter" la. Everyday fetch me from school without fail and drives me to the bridge at morning where I lazy to walk down to the bridge to cross over to school. My mom's the greatest super mom chef around. Her "Pong Teh" and Char Siew is just so delishhh.. Her baked cheese sausages also are simply so tasty. She always puts butter in my spaghetti cause' she knows I LOVE butter/margerine (I can just eat it from the tub. yeah yeah,I know it's fattening but who cares?It's salty..mmm...)

Besides all the usual jobs of a mom, she also works as a full-time youth helper in our church. Well,me being a youth and all, she's always the one advising me in situations where I just simply am stuck in. Yeah,sometimes she may lecture me in the process of advising, but it's part of life,noh? She also reminds me that we should not forget God and what are purposes of certain things in life like quiet time. Even as a kid,she's impacted my life tremendously.

Every night before a little girl with buck teeth goes to sleep, her mom would always ask her
" Have you said your prayer yet?"

And the little girl's eyes just enlarged itself to the fact that she forgot to pray.

Then, the little girl would hastily close her eyes ,bow her head and put her hands together and pray to God.

I still remember my mom used to smile when I used to pray to God to keep the "shadow ghosts" away. Haha,shadow ghosts aren't really ghosts. They're my imagination going wild in the middle of the night. But God DID keep my "imaginations" away at night.

Thank you mom for everything and so much more. So much that there's too many words to type. I'm sorry for the times when I'm rude and stubborn and disobedient. I have no excuse for being like that towards you for we should "Honour our fathers and mothers" according to God's word. Mood swings nowadays are really bad due to puberty I guess. PMS maybe? But yes,thank you and sorry. I am really thankful that I have a mother who loves and cares for her family so much. I'm thankful for a mom who can multitask and be supermom 24/7. Yeah. Thanks mom for the great memories too.The ones where me and you would shout " woahhhhh" everytime we go over a bump in the car. Or even the times when you tickle me to the ground and I end up crying "MERCY MERCY!!"Haha. I hope your day was enjoyable. Taking naps really soothes the soul,doesn't it?;) Love ya mom.

Chapter 194.5 - Ink Writing

I was just so intrigued by Ink Writing that I really must continue it.

Don't mind my essay,but let me explain what is Ink Writing as some of you have asked.

Ink Writing is basically a few lines of words(short story) or just one line where I put my life into an animation story. Frankie,short for Francheskar is of course the MAIN character.The others? The names for the rest of the other characters are normally bizarre or just so unique that I just couldn't fictionize the names.(e.g. Shanice is Shanice)

Ink Writing also expresses my urge for writing stories.My only flaw in this passion?I could never finish them stories seperti"hangat- hangat tahi ayam" as my bro puts it. But yes,I admit the fact that I could never finish a story even though the whole story line is in my mind. Hence,Ink Writing is a basically also a never ending story. I say "So,imaginations ,go WILD today!Impress me"

My twisted mind loves to pop up ideas for Ink Writing and put the "audience" into an inquisitive state.I dont know about you guys, but I'm sure by the time I'm legal and reading my old Ink Writings, of course by then,I would forget everything I wrote. Thus,suspense will grip me by the alphabets.

" What did I mean by that???When did THAT happen??I can't believe I did that!!"

I enjoy Ink Writing and if you don't like it, stop reading my blog dum. By the way, I will never, NEVER reveal who the characters are. Okay,since my mouth is just so small, it may slip out a couple of times,if you're lucky. *snigger

At 10.47am,hunger engulfs Frankie as she gets back to reality from the other realm. Frankie walks up to the Yamaha and stares at it. She then makes a move towards the Yamaha and takes out the Sonatinas. She places it violently on the music stand thingy. She then plays the first note,and another,and another till 2 songs were done. After that,she closed the Music Monster. She skipped, SKIPPED off like a lucky funky monkey remembering the moment when she smiled towards the end of the second song,almost laughing.."

Chapter 192 - Addicted

"I'm addicted,I'm addicted to..."

No,not drugs or booze OR cigarettes.

It's really hard to study in my room,but it's just so comfortable to study on my bed.
The bed helps comfort me when I study,easier to study.
The floor too.

But the things that really are such distractions to me are..

• The dumb huge mirror I look at every single day.

• I'm so tempted to dance and sing when I look into the mirror.Dumb mirror. Such evil. No seriously,I do popping and attempt to do waves and Harlem shakes. Quite addictive.

• The Radio. I'm not the type that "I study very well when there's music on or when the TV is right opposite me" But I enjoy music.I'll die without one day of music. Ask my mom, she's lucky her car radio isn't spoiled..YET..

• The dinosaur handphone. No,it's NOT cause' I get a whole lot of msges everyday.It's because I DON'T get msges. See Jane,"Since you've been goneee,I can't study for the first time...."HahaXD I study better when I'm half occupied by my phone.Seriously.
  

• Not enough sleep.See,I study like till 12am like that. so when i actually study the next day,I study with my eyes closed.I so called" Visualize" while I study:P
  

• My urge for blogging. I feel like a Kenny Sia type. EVERYDAY got something to say wan. Hey, you're looking at Liesl Tan's blog. What can I say?My class is really hyper.That's why sometimes my blogposts are really,REALLY long.

When I'm stressed out or get sick of the humidity of my room..

• I play the Yamaha.Mom,if you don't realize,I play piano more often than I usually do on normal days. Haha,my teacher,in a very very long long time, said to me today after my Sonatina piece,GOOD.Muahahaha. I reign supreme with Sonatinas!:P Yes Yes,I know I know, you're probably thinking

• "Liesl plays the PIANO!?!?!?" (Btw,I'm grade 6 ALREADY)

• Orr you're probably thinking..

• "Cihh. I know other people who can play better!" But I dunno. I like Sonatinas,they're fun to play! It's also fun when you can "understand" the song. If you get what I mean:)

• My black furry piggy popiah to play with. I'm sure JD's familiar with this time of the year when I come down from the hidden tower and say "Beeebeeeeeee..." This is when she goes "UH-OH"..Squeezing her can be a very good de-stressing tactic.

• My waterhorse,Crusoe(KC furry black pig).PLay with her outside the over house. It's ten times more cooling than inside my house.Trust me.Hugging her is fun too:)

• Magnum. Please la,I don't gamble. Okla,CNY la,but that's like RM 1 and 50 sen and stuff. Not counted!! But yes,my weakness is..Wall's Magnum Ice Cream. My mom resorted to buying the Mini Magnum because the normal big Magnum has 3 sticks only.And in 3 days,it'll be gone and digested into my stomach.But the Mini consists of 6. So it can last me for about 6 days or less la;P No wonder my butt's getting bigger.

Chapter 190- Colorgenics?

Okay,I just re-read my colorgenics results and they're so boring.Not to mention,it's a whole load of nonsense. LOL.

Weekend?
You can say I pretty much enjoyed it.At least I got to experience a little bit of sports throughout the weekend. Ahh,throwing plastic plates around is so fun:) "Sissy" as SOME people would put it*coughjianeucoughiierncough* But I find it to be a very "feel-good" sport:)

Besides that,I also got a good practice for running events,esp 100m. How?
Well,simply by chasing Cassie,TWICE,when she ran out of the house and during telematches on Saturday.

Speaking of frisbee, I never understood how my throws can vary from one day to another.It's like my forehands can be good one day,then the next my backhand is fantastic.

To begin with honestly,I sucked at frisbee when I was a young grasshopper wearing her red bandana and her Harry Potter like glasses at the age of 12.

Props to John for introducing me to the sport when he brought me to this field where his college mates meet up weekly for frisbee. Man,was I the noobiest person on the grass.

Now?I somehow got to know about frisbee at school one day when I saw a guy carrying a frisbee around.I gasped and said "YOU PLAY FRISBEE??"

Btw,before that,I didn't know anyone who could play frisbee in my school.

So,I decided one day to bring a frisbee to school and teach my friends to play. even some guys joined us and they really enjoyed it. So,frisbee was our weekly PJK exercise!Haha

Well,honestly,I've advanced a lot from a total noob who couldnt understand the flow of throws,to an elite team player for SMK Seafield.*By the way,my throws still vary,ask Jian or Smun,they'll tell you:P

So yeah,if you've just started learning frisbee and think about giving up since you aren't familiar with it yet,then you should re-consider.Look where I am now:)

This vid was taken a few days before my next oneBtw,it's so sucky because I was trying to make no sound,as my house echoes sound from my room.Hence,I tried to do it as quietly as posibble,by which,this does not give me enough max power to dance.AND,i had no shoes.Less bounce.


This video sucks a whole lot less than the previous one.But I only like the first half.My shuffle kick step was so out because i didn't have enough bounce.Still no shoes.And my toe was injured.So,couldn do much.But I only like the one were I did a tupac.Awesomeeeeeee.....BUt I should do it with music.It's more like practising la for me.Not the real thing.Yeah.
